The Ada editor will automatically save altered Ada source files when any build operation or individual compilation is invoked.
Only altered Ada source files in the project being built will be saved. Ada source files from other projects will not be automatically saved even if they have been altered. Obviously invoking the compiler on an individual Ada source file will cause it to be saved, if necessary.
Automatically saving Ada source files is enabled by default and is controlled by a preference on the Editor preference page.
